The Spanish Language is becoming ever more prominent in American society. I teach Spanish in a dynamic style, creating an active learning environment which actively engages students and makes the content more comprehensible. My lessons are based on dialogue and discussions which foster life-long learning. One requirement in my class is to have "ganas" ("desire") to learn. I believe that nothing in life can be achieved if there is no desire.

 

Born in Cuba, I came to America as an adult and have learned much about the natural struggles and accomplishments of learning a new language and culture. With these experiences came excellent insight into natural, effective learning methods adapted into a fun new way to explore the Spanish language.

 

Remember how you first learned your ABC's in school? I will develop your child's Spanish speaking ability by using familiar, adapted techniques, making the transition between languages simple and allowing your child to focus on transparent learning rather than memorizing the learning techniques themselves.
